Cherry Blossom Season in Taiwan - 2017 Sakura Series [Travel in Taiwan 170305: Hsinchu Park (新竹公園)]

How to get here: Board any train of the TRA and alight at Hsinchu Station. The sakura trees are located in Hsinchu Park and one must pass through the Railway Station Underpass to get to the rear side of the train station via Exit 6. Continue walking up to the end of the Lane 1 Dongnan St. until you see the flyover in Section 1, Dongda Road. Turn right at this intersection. The road will lead you to Hsinchu Park

Status of flowering: Blossoming was not good compared to last year. Most of the trees already have leaves although some buds of the cherry blossoms are yet to open.

To get to Hsinchu Park, I walked at the Railway Station Underpass.

I went inside via Exit 3 and get out at Exit 6.

Directions were given to help visitors reach Hsinchu Park faster.

I walked at Section 1, Dongda Road until I found this flyover.   I turned right and the road led to Hsinchu Park.

The park was alive at night because of the cherry blossoms.

There were already leaves on the branches of some trees ...

... but seeing the flowers will make you forget about the shades of green on the tree.

The flowering last year was better but this year was still good enough to appreciate sakuras in Taiwan.

The light illuminates the pink color of the cherry blossoms.
