Walk along a creek planted with different varieties of cherry blossoms in Sanzhi District of New Taipei City. The recent rain caused some petals of the showa sakura to dropped while the yoshino sakuras were less than half of a full bloom. Some of the cherry blossom trees were already covered with leaves and they might be the native Taiwan cherry which starts blossoming at the last week of January. A mini-market was also set up featuring the different agricultural products of Sanzhi District like some vegetables, sakura wine and the sakura cake.
How to go there: Board Bus 862, 863, 865, 867 or 892 from Tamsui Station and alight at 新庄子(Xīn zhuāngzi) stop. Walk along Gongwang Rd. until you find the entrance to the Sansei Trail.
