Cherry Blossom Season in Taiwan - 2017 Sakura Series [Travel in Taiwan 170220: Kāng Gào Kēng Creek (康誥坑溪)]

How to get here: Board any local train of the Taiwan Railway Administration (TRA) and alight at Xike Station. Go to Exit 1 and follow the elevated railroad tracks of the TRA going to Taipei. Turn left when you see a creek. Walk along its banks up to Xiding Road and enjoy every sakura tree that you will see there.

Status of flowering: Some of the trees were already in full bloom. Other trees have opened half of its buds. There were also leafless cherry blossom trees with buds just waiting for the right conditions to blossom.

Xike Station

Go to Exit 1 after alighting at Xike Station

Turn left once you see this creek.

The banks of the creek had been planted with cherry blossom trees and they usually blossom in February.

The good thing about this body of water near Xike Station is that the water here is clean and with some fishes.

Sakura trees that haven't opened most of its buds.

The flowering this year wa a bit late but there were already trees that shows its beauty.

People who live near the creek.
