Cherry Blossom Season in Taiwan - 2017 Sakura Series [Travel in Taiwan 170320: Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (中正紀念堂) Tairyō sakura (大漁櫻)]


Type of cherry blossom: Tairyō sakura (大漁櫻)

How to get here: Board the Taipei MRT and alight at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (CKSMH) Station. Go to Exit 5 and walk towards the back of CKSMH. The flowers of the Tairyō sakura are waiting for your arrival.

Status of flowering: 60-70% of the flower buds have opened.

The Tairyō sakuras (大漁櫻) are located at the back of the CKSMH building.

The flowers were not so many at the time of my visit but at least they looked fresh.
